Hooked is the fishing outreach ministry of LegacyTXK Outdoors
Through the passion for and joy of fishing, we use this platform to reach and get people of all ages "Hooked" on Jesus, teaching them how to become fishers of men.
We share the gospel through adult fishing leagues, kid's fishing derbys, jr. fishing leagues and special events by getting kids (and kids at heart) on the water and enjoying the great sport of fishing.
Hooked Fishing League
is a Christian fellowship open for anyone who would like to participate, Men, Women & Students. Each person must register with Hooked Fishing League to participate in the tournament weekly and for the season. There are no entry fees to participate but each person is responsible for their own tackle, license & equipment, as well as following Arkansas Game & Fish rules and regulations. And there is a chance for prizes each week!
Sunday Afternoon Fishing League
We will be starting up our 2026 sponsors campaign for the new season the Friday after Thanksgiving. This covers the payouts and overall season payout, as well as the costs of the events, advertising and promoting, along with overall expenses.
A sponsorship of $350 gets your name or business name on the website, on the annual banner that is displayed at each of the events and in the winner's pictures. It will also get you added to the weekly social media blitz for all the promo of these events and on the 2026 League T-shirts, and on the Winner's Circle Recognition for all our tournaments/events as well as on the banner hung at the LegacyTXK Hangout.

We offer free events with no entry fees for all ages. We offer both daily pay outs and overall payouts and gift certificates from Baits-n-Blades at all our events.
The league will normally be from 3pm-6pm on Sunday afternoons. We will be fishing different spots for the biggest Bass each week, alternating each week between the spots. Payouts will vary but typically average $125, $75, $50.
Over the weeks, you will be able to score your largest fish each tournament week. Your largest fish overall will be counted in the total season scoring with prizes for season's totals.
To qualify for the Hooked Outdoors 2025 Spring League Angler of the Year, you must participate in all events.
We will have a ceremony at the end of the tournament with a small fellowship for those who have participated in the season tournaments.
If you don’t have a boat and want to fish from the bank, you're welcome to do that also!

2026 LEAGUE/TOURNAMENT DATES
(subject to change due to weather conditions/other events at locations - please see Facebook page for updates to dates/locations)
Here are a few of the tournaments we have planned with specific dates coming soon:
- There will be individual day tournaments on local lakes this year for the leauge and annual over all anglers. LAKES: Wright Patman, Millwood, Columbia, Lake of the Pines, Lake Fork, Kelly, First Ole River, Second Ole River and Lake Erling.
- 4-week crappie tournament with 7 crappie limit each and heaviest stringer as well as weekly big crappie pay outs! There will be a total 4 week stringer for top 3 over all champions with pay outs for top 3 each week and top 3 over all winners. LAKES: Millwood, Lake Erling, Wright Patman and First Ole River
- Multiple Bass Tournaments that will start in February.
- David Norton Scholarship Big Bass Millwood Tournament 2 anglers 2 Bass 2 Days on Millwood
- Triple Threat Hooked Outdoors Big Bass Tournament on First Ole River, Second Ole River and Kelly Lake 
There are also planned to be some catfish tournaments added this year too with fishing derby for kids, students and families on local ponds!
DAVID NORTON NET MAN SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The David Norton Net Man scholarship tournament is a 2-day, 2-fish, 2-angler tournament. Each angler will weigh their largest individual bass each of the two days and the teams combined 4 fish, 2-day total will declare the winners of the daily team payout.
Also, their names will be added to the wall trophy board and individual trophies.
The individual weights each day will count towards the leagues total season bag also.
We are very thankful for the 15 digital scales that have been donated to the ministry to weigh the fish for pictures to help document with the fish totals.
